The metal plate is not directly compatible with wireless charging. By sticking the metal plate onto your phone case, you simply need to remove the case from your phone to charge it on your MagSafe charger.

MagSafe alone won't be enough to withstand impacts. You must use the Shapeheart Sleeve or metal plate to ensure proper use of the mounts.

The question is legitimate, but this is absolutely not an issue we have encountered.
First, note that the mount is removable. Our mounts are very discreet, with no obvious distinguishing marks. There is no more risk than walking down the street with your phone in hand.
