Explanations
High-frequency vibrations
By attaching your phone to your motorcycle or scooter, it may be subject to certain high-frequency vibrations emitted by your vehicle's engine. These vibrations can damage your phone's camera (the optical stabilizer). The anti-vibration is designed precisely to dampen these high-frequency vibrations.
In the video, subjected to very high-frequency vibrations, the mount with the anti-vibration (on the left) stabilizes the phone; whereas without the anti-vibration (on the right), the phone shakes.
