Reflections on the Sleeve?
Summer and sunshine are finally here, well settled in for the past few weeks. When you take your motorcycle or bike, you insert your phone into the Shapeheart magnetic Sleeve, snap it onto the mount and then… glare.
The first thing to do is to check the brightness of your screen and make sure your phone is properly oriented. And even then, it may not be enough. Especially on a motorcycle, where the position is lower than on a bike. And it's somewhat normal — even without a Sleeve, when we use our mobile phone in the street in full sunlight, for example, we sometimes can barely see anything.
Yes, the Sleeve does add a bit of glare, but it's there for several reasons. It protects against rain, cold, and vibrations, and means you don't have to buy a new accessory or mount every time you change phones…
It has several advantages, but it's true that in summer, some people would rather do without it. If you choose to keep it, we recommend cleaning your phone screen as well as the plastic part of the Sleeve thoroughly to reduce glare.
Also, let's not forget that Shapeheart sells its products in many countries around the world. Weather conditions are not the same everywhere. (Shout out to our friends in the north). Many countries cannot do without a protective sleeve.
That said, we have not forgotten those who enjoy a hot, sunny summer for several months of the year. So we simply decided to launch a total alternative to our sleeves: the adhesive metal plate.
What is the adhesive metal plate?
Compatible with our entire product range, the adhesive metal plate means you no longer need to put your phone in the sleeve. And with a thickness of just 1.5 mm, it's the thinnest universal adapter in the world! Discreet, stylish, and just as powerful as our sleeves, the adhesive metal plate sticks directly onto your phone case in seconds!
As a second option, we suggest using our Booster 360° (extension arm) on the PRO version (bike/moto) and half-handlebar, which allows you to angle the phone more vertically and reduce reflections. Indeed, since light reflects in the plane of the phone, if it is flat, the direct view will reflect the sun / clouds — it works like a mirror.
