Use our metal plate?

When applying the adhesive to your smartphone case, it is very important to clean the phone case thoroughly and let the bond set. We recommend leaving it to set overnight to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Depending on the phone case, the adhesive may stick better or worse (on textured cases), or not at all (on textile covers). Results vary greatly and there is no adhesive that sticks as strongly as our magnets regardless of the surface. If the adhesive comes loose, the best solution is to thoroughly clean the surface of your plate and phone case again, then attach the plate using super glue or epoxy adhesive.

Make sure the magnet is firmly fixed to your bike / motorcycle / mirror. If you use elastic straps, the dock will tend to come away more easily with your phone when you remove it, unnecessarily straining the adhesive. Instead, use the strap so that the dock is firmly attached to your handlebar.

You should be very careful about how you remove the phone from the magnet. It is very important to use a lever motion (like uncapping a bottle) and never pull in line with the magnet, i.e. vertically. We recommend holding the metal plate by placing one finger on each side of the plate when grabbing your phone.
