Choosing your mount...

Which phone holder should you choose for your motorcycle?

·3 min de lecture

Which motorcycle phone holder should you choose? It all comes down to one point: the available space on your cockpit. A clear tubular handlebar accepts the simplest mounting. A sportbike bracelet handlebar, a maxi scooter dashboard or a cockpit loaded with controls each require a different attachment. This guide leads you to the right mounting, then to your model's page.

Key points
  • Tubular handlebar from 22 to 32 mm: the PRO holder screwed on (39.95 €) is the reference mounting, stable and removable in a few seconds.
  • Bracelet handlebar or half-handlebar on sportbikes: the MINI BOOST (49.95 €) fastens where the classic handlebar doesn't exist.
  • Cockpit cluttered with controls: the PRO BOOST (49.95 €) moves the screen in front of the speedometer thanks to its extension arm.
  • Maxi scooter with fairing: the dashboard holder (49.95 €) screws onto the flat surface, without touching the handlebar.
  • The magnetic Sleeve protects the screen from rain and stays tactile with gloves. The metal plate (9.95 €) replaces it to place the bare phone.

Which mounting for which motorcycle?

The choice is made first and foremost on the shape of the cockpit, not on the engine capacity or the brand. This table sums up the four scenarios.

Your cockpit The mounting The product
Clear tubular handlebar (roadster, trail, custom) Screwed onto the handlebar PRO motorcycle holder
Bracelet or half-handlebar (sportbike) Screwed onto the half-handlebar MINI BOOST
Handlebar loaded with controls or GPS 360° extension arm PRO BOOST
Maxi scooter with flat fairing Screwed onto the dashboard Maxi scooter holder
No space on the cockpit On the mirror PRO mirror holder

Your model isn't there? The mounting is chosen based on handlebar shape, not on the motorcycle: the table above is enough to decide in the vast majority of cases.

Sleeve or metal plate: which one to choose?

The Sleeve, to ride in all weather

The magnetic Sleeve encloses the phone and protects it from rain and dust. It remains perfectly tactile, even with gloves, and its window leaves the camera clear. This is the default choice on a motorcycle, where you don't stop to put your phone away when it starts raining.

A replacement Sleeve costs 12.95 € and fits all our holders, motorcycle or bike.

The metal plate, to place the bare phone

The adhesive metal plate (9.95 €) sticks to the back of a rigid, smooth case. The phone is then placed directly on the holder, without going through the Sleeve. It's quicker in everyday use, but the screen is no longer protected from rain: reserve it for short trips and fine weather.

The two accessories that make a difference

The anti-vibration (14.95 €) sits between the holder and the phone. It absorbs engine vibrations, which recent optical stabilizers in cameras struggle with over time. If you ride with a phone you also use for photography, this is the accessory not to neglect.

The 360° extension arm (14.95 €) moves and orients the screen. It's useful when the handlebar is already occupied, or when the holder position requires you to turn your head to read an indication.

The right holder is chosen based on the shape of your cockpit, not the engine capacity of your motorcycle.
