Does it really hold?

The first question we're usually asked is: does it really hold? You can well imagine that, given the price of phones, we've made sure the magnets are powerful!

The magnetic system supports up to 50 times the weight of your smartphone:

Excellent grip, regardless of road conditions (cobblestones, potholes, curbs...)
Stable even at high speed (tested up to 225 km/h on a circuit)
Wind tunnel tested up to 140 km/h (maximum wind tunnel power)
Stable: the phone doesn't move on the handlebars.

And you can well imagine that, over 5 years, if our mounts didn't work, we wouldn't still be here and the biggest retailers wouldn't be stocking us.

To validate our motorcycle mount, we ran two tests:

- a first one in a wind tunnel at nearly 140 km/h (maximum wind tunnel speed) with LIFSE.

- a second test on the Carole circuit at 226 km/h.

1. Choose the correct adapter and nut based on your steering column diameter:

Steering column from 11 to 13.9 mm: 11 mm adapter and 11 mm nut.
Steering column from 14 to 16.9 mm: 14 mm adapter and 11 mm nut.
Steering column from 17 to 22 mm: 17 mm adapter and 14 mm nut.

2. Place the mount in the steering column and tighten firmly with the Allen key until it is nearly impossible to remove the mount by hand.

3. Assemble the Booster 360 by replacing the screw, and adjust it to your preference by tightening the 3 orientation axis screws until the Booster can no longer move.

Do you still have questions?

I've heard that mounts can damage the phone's camera?

True, but for motorcycles only — engine vibrations from certain bikes can damage the optical image stabilizer of some phones (mainly iPhone).
Our mounts with Sleeves absorb vibrations, so there's no risk.

Are the magnets harmful to my phone?

No. Simply because there is no magnetic field inside the Sleeve or through the plate. We explain everything here.

Bear in mind that brands like Apple now even put magnets inside the phone itself.

Can someone steal my phone?

The question is legitimate, but it is absolutely not an issue we encounter.
First of all, the mount is removable. Our mounts are very discreet, with no apparent distinguishing features. There is no greater risk than walking down the street with your phone in hand.
Snatch thefts, moreover, most often occur on public transport. On the subway, for example, where once the doors close, there is nothing you can do.
Once again, the question is legitimate, but we have not had a single report of such thefts.
